We called A & E Kitchen Design to come to our home for a quote to do kitchen remodel. Very soon after Doug, the owner, arrived, we knew A & E Kitchen Design would be doing our kitchen remodel. Doug really is a true designer. He made suggestions that we never even thought about. We went from standard 42" cabinets to beautiful 66" custom cabinets. Doug reconfigured our kitchen, relocating the stove, so that we had more usable counterspace. He also doubled the size of our island, increasing storage space. After contacting him, he presented us with a design incorporating everything I had asked for, and made some other good suggestions. Along the way, Doug answered all of my questions and concerns, and gave his knowledgeable opinion on items I had chosen, i.e., backsplash, countertop, coordinating colors. First of all, there was no reason at all for me to have been hesitant in hiring Doug, owner of A&E Kitchen Design. He and all of his subcontractors were so professional in every way. I never could have expected such a smooth and seamless experience, after all I had read about contractors in the Myrtle Beach. Bob Smedley was our favorite. He did the majority of the demolition work and left the kitchen as clean and orderly as one could expect after a demo.
