First of all, there was no reason at all for me to have been hesitant in hiring Doug, owner of A&E Kitchen Design. He and all of his subcontractors were so professional in every way. I never could have expected such a smooth and seamless experience, after all I had read about contractors in the Myrtle Beach. Bob Smedley was our favorite. He did the majority of the demolition work and left the kitchen as clean and orderly as one could expect after a demo. We met with Doug who was anxious to hear about what we wanted, he listened and then designed it exactly as we envisioned. Doug, owner of A & E Kitchen Design came very highly recommended to us. After contacting him, he presented us with a design incorporating everything I had asked for, and made some other good suggestions. Along the way, Doug answered all of my questions and concerns, and gave his knowledgeable opinion on items I had chosen, i.e., backsplash, countertop, coordinating colors. Once everything was in place and the work began, things moved along quickly and smoothly, and his team was superb. Doug was there on Day #1 and many days thereafter.
